Swimtime Devon utilises teachers who are: ASA Level 2 Swimming Teachers National Pool Lifeguards Enhanced CRB verified ASA Level 1 working as assistants Jane Hushon is an ASA Tutor and has been responsible for training and developing Swimming teachers in the South West for the last 15 years. All Swimtime Teachers are ASA qualified and attend up to 6 Continual Professional Development Sessions per year. We build on our respective strengths and share good practise across the programme. Swimtime teachers will enter the water to teach beginners, where the design of the pool indicates this is the most appropriate method. We believe it creates a close bond with the children, developing trust and a partnership with the teacher. |
